The JOY Challenge: Day 4

I am linking with Holley from in(courage) on her 40 day journey to choose joy. Won't you join us? If you would like to jump back to day 1 of my journey, click here. Or, to jump back to day 1 of her journey, click here.

Today, I choose to find joy in our neighborhood dog.

He's lived in these parts all his life until a developer stepped in, snatched up all his woods, and replaced them with townhouses, which he sold to people like us.

Taco, as he has been named my one of the younger residents in the development, is a very social and loving dog. He makes the rounds frequently and always knows how to avoid the usual dangers... like cars speeding through the parking lot. I think we could all learn a thing or two from him...

1. Enjoy your God-given freedom.

2. Love your neighbor.

3. Watch out for cars, those things in life that try to run you over or take up your road.

and finally...

4. Don't ever give up on the life God's given you. Even if it's tough or you're as old as the hills...

Thanks for the tips, Taco... and for making me smile!

Now, how about you? What are you joyful for today? Please share with us what God has done in your life! :-)

Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...

***Don't forget to pray for someone today!

Taco is one smart dog and a lucky one at that to have people around that actually love him. I wouldn't mind a neighborhood dog like Taco.
