I will. Will you?

Today, I find joy in identifying with friends ~
- A word from God via the devotional written by Holley. I stopped at Lifeway on the way home from work yesterday and picked up a copy. I needed something new and fresh, and I was not disappointed this morning. You know, sometimes it is easier to accept truth from someone else who's been there, done that.
- A scriptural challenge from another friend who is struggling with her own set of problems puts things into perspective for me. I could really copy and paste every scripture precious Catherine shared on her blog, because they were all relevant to me. Let me just go with one for now, though...
James 1:2-4
"Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges
come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure,
your faith-life is forced into the open
and shows its true colors.
So don't try to get out of anything prematurely.
Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed,
not deficient in any way."
Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...
***Don't forget to pray for someone today!

Ouch.
- A morning hug from Miss Judy. She's been here, at my current place of employment, since before I was born. She does the same simple job every day with a good attitude. Her location has been moved more times than Carter had liver pills, and I've never heard a complaint come out of her mouth. What a precious woman of God whose faith-life has been forced into the open and has shown its true, beautiful colors.
