If I were being honest...

I'd tell you that I am really struggling right now. I have so much to be thankful for, and I am. Really. I am, but I don't understand, and somehow, I just feel like crying. I would also tell you that I am struggling really hard to trust God's plan at the moment.

If I were being honest, I would tell you that D.T. and I both agree. God has said "no" to IVF. Don't understand that one either. I mean, it sounded like a perfectly good option to me.

If I were being honest, I would tell you that I just became a GREAT aunt yesterday, and that I am SO happy for our niece and her husband. Really, though, GREAT aunt? What's wrong with this picture?

If I were being honest, I would tell you that I really made a fool out of myself last night in front of these wonderful ladies who did a concert at our church...

Yep, after this little picture opp, I walked away and couldn't find the cardboard sleeve for one of the CDs I bought. So, I walked back to the table and pushed my way through, saying that I couldn't find the cardboard sleeve, only to have the middle woman say, "You mean the one you're holding under our picture?" Um. Yeah. That one. Then, I said, "Thanks. I think it's time for me to go to bed."

For real, though, how cool was THAT!!! Seriously. POINT OF GRACE!!!

Yep that's what's gone on around these here parts this week. I wonder what's happening in your life. You know, if you were being honest.
I know that if I were being honest, I'd tell you that MckMama is really struggling herself right now, and she could certainly use our prayers. So, please stop by her place and love on her family a bit.

awwww. praying for YOU. and stellan. but for YOU too!!

if i were being honest i'd blog and rant and rave about how irritated i am at shaun's sisters for only wanting to spend time with my kids when it "works" for them. not when their nieces and nephew want to spend time with them.

thanks. that felt better.

If I were being honest, I'd say that it is soooo hard to trust God's plan sometimes esp. without questioning, wondering and understanding. But, without a doubt, He is at work in the details.

Anyway, LOL about the POG experience...embarrassing but awesome you got a picture w/them. It was a GREAT concert!!

Cous- Lov'n on you from a thousand miles away, perhaps you need to come to Florida for some Sonshine! I'll pray that the Lord gives you joy through these struggles. Put on your Garments of Praise (Is. 61)- even if the tears begin to flow. Love you, Melissa

Well, something that hopefully you can laugh off too!

If I were being honest, I would admit that I have done the absolute minimum this morning as far as straightening the house, the kids are fed & dressed and I'm going to my friends house so the kids can play & we can just veg out & have Mommy talk time. I so don't want to stay home today, it gets really boring a lot of the time! But, that's ONLY if I were being honest! =)

If I were being honest, I would say your honesty is so refreshing to hear, even if it's not the best of news for you. So many people cover their pain and say things are OK when really they know it's not.

You really are an inspiration. Your trust in God is truly a help to me.

I've been there in your shoes with the IVF thing.... so not fun...

If I honest I would say I'm miserable sick and a little frustrated that God allowed us to get this sick when coming home from China to get or boys... but then I know that in this I will come out having learned something about myself and more about the Lord.
