Welcome to Friday Photo Flashback, as hosted by Alicia at More Than Words!
The photo below was taken in 1990 after D.T. got out of the hospital in Romania. He had been in the hospital for 2 months after being shot in the Romanian Revolution in December of 1989. The children in the picture are all of his nieces and nephews.
My hero
Here he is again with 3 of his nieces and one niece-in-law who was not in the original picture. Hmmm.... America has sure been good to him, huh?!? ;-)
Brownie points for anyone who can you tell who is who... :-)

Wow. Talk about a brush with death! That pic looks as if it were taken ages ago. I'm sure it feels like a lifetime ago to DT.
Oh my... There aren't too many people that have a story like that to tell. Great photos.
It must have cheered him up so much to have them there with him! :)
Oh MY! Glad that God saved him for you!
Family is so wonderful. What a guy you have there!
Wow! That is scary! I'm so glad everything turned out okay.
Wow! Thank God that He totally protected your husband from anything worst! Well, I don't know what could be worst than getting shot, but you know what I mean!
What great pictures of him and his nieces!!!
Wow, that picture looks much older than a 1990 photo. I was so confused at first.
I'm glad he is happy and blessed now.
My goodness! Glad that he is doing well now!
