It is not bright and early Monday morning, and I am not sitting at work, waiting for 8 a.m. and wondering what to tell y'all about.
I have not been a bit discouraged lately wondering when this whole adoption thing will come to pass. I have not been having a hard time trusting that God knows how old we are now and how old we will be when the baby graduates from high school. I am not working on doing better and would not really appreciate your prayers. After all, I have it all together spiritually.
Yesterday was not even the first time I had been in church for weeks because I am always working in the nursery on Sunday mornings. I do not have too many things on my plate and my priorities messed up. After all, I am wonder woman, and I can do it all. by. myself!!!
My kitchen is not a mess, and there are not dirty dishes in the sink 24/7. After all, this woman has it all together and can work full time, take a grad class, juggle anything else you give her and wash the dishes!
On a yummy and weight increasing note, D.T. and I did not eat a whole cake (except for one piece that is left) all by ourselves in two days! ;-)
Ooooowwwwie! I just tried to crack my neck, and it seriously HURT! I am not just a little bit tense. After all, I am the most relaxed woman on the planet, which means I certainly had no need for all that sugar! and NO, Mr. Wii, it has not been a bunch of days since I graced you with my presence. What? I gained .7 of a pound? Hmmm... I don't think that's pretty good for half a cake!
So,
Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...
***Don't forget to pray for someone today!

Keep the Faith, God will come though even if it is not in the time or way you want. And from one wonder woman to another, let the small things pass (dishes can wait) enjoy your days!
thanks for your transparency! this has been a rough week here. DH is home for the summer (he is a school teacher) and my whole routine is off. which basically shows my problem releasing control and the fact that i too often serve my self instead of serving Christ. Thank the sweet sweet Lord, that His mercy is so graciously given!
Praying for you...
Hang in there. i can't believe you only were up .7 either...that is good for eating a whole cake. LOL
I gain 5 pounds just reading about cake. See...I need to go put on my bigger jeans. :)
You guys are always in our prayers. Really if you need something else to do...Wire Nut and Firefly are constantly fighting. I bet they would stop for you guys! Can't wait to see you. But don't make me share in the cake with you. Wedding dress, wedding dress, wedding dress!! LOL!! :)
Cute! That darn Mr. Wii...sometimes he's just a little too honest, IMO! And you're right .7 lbs, not bad, not bad at all!! :)
Just said a little prayer as I read your Not Me's. =)
You guys continue to be in my prayers regarding the adoption process. I know what you mean about wondering how old you'll be when your baby graduates. My husband just turned 39. Our girls are 2 and 3. :)
I'm visiting from Sneaky Momma's. You have a fun, lovely blog here:) My dishes seem to multiply minute by minute. I think it is wonderful how you encourage daily prayer. A good reminder to us all. Enjoy your day!
