You know, I often wonder about some people.
People like me...
Take this week for example.
People like me managed to be #1 on MckMama's Mr. Linky for the second week in a row! Holy McTraffic!!! People like me then felt guilty because of comments like #5 on this list and decided to forgo trying to be #1 again this week. Farewell, dear McTraffic. :-(
People like me took on another graduate class and then felt just a bit overwhelmed. People like me were then grateful for a husband who picked up the wife's slack and even did grocery shopping by himself.
People like me blogged directly to people from other countries who stopped by just looking for a friend. People like me also spilled their guts about the adoption process to the entire blog world, blogged about husbands with special talents, and told tales of their sister's strange giraffe dreams, inviting others to interpret.
Phew.
It must have been a busy week for people like me who found amusement in strange places, engaging in comment wars in this blogger's contest with friends like her, and her, and her! People like me are especially looking forward to meeting up with this friend again before they move away.
This week, people like me found strength in the LORD and special joy in rocking a baby girl to sleep in the nursery at church. People like me sang Jesus Loves
Yep, people like me had quite the week...
but me? Certainly NOT!
Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...

I am comment #5 and it is quite alright that you were first. I was amazed to be in the first hundred as I never am. I am usually in the 120s. How funny is it that I read your Not Me! And it talked about me. I love it. :-) And people LIKE YOU are just fine, I am sure. :-)

People life you are really sweet and caring. I really appreciate your honesty...rocking babies in the nursery is one of my favorite things. Hope your grad class went well. I took 19 UG hours this past spring and they about killed me during finals :)

I should clarify Charisse's comment below so that noone jumps down her throat. Charisse did not leave the anonymous comment #5 on my NMM last week. I accidentally put the link to MckMama's site in that part of my NMM today and so Charisse thought I was referring to comment #5 on MckMama's NMM today.
I have now fixed the link on my NMM post today, but I wanted you to know that Charisse seems to be a very nice person and did not leave the comment last week.
Actually, that should be Charisse's comment "above". Ha! I'm not thinking straight today. :-)
Very funny that I thought you were referring to me in your Not Me #5 comments. That is ok that you are not. Some ppl do not realize life is not a contest. :( But I truly believe that all things happen for a reason, great or small, so maybe there were reasons that your blog made it 1st. I think maybe there was something that you were saying that needed to be shared with MckMamas readers. :-)
