Definition of PERSEVERANCE
: continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition : the action or condition or an instance of persevering : steadfastness
Whether it is about one's faith or one's journey to lose weight, perseverance is not about where you start. It is about how you FINISH! I am struggling with those last few pounds to reach my (initial) goal weight. I am hungry all the time... and not for good things, either. I've been doing this now almost eight months, and I must admit, I am tired. I have to keep going, though, because I don't want to go back. It is not an option. I finally got back on the treadmill yesterday and this morning because it won't happen if I don't. It isn't the last eight months that count. It is today... and tomorrow... and the day after that.
I kind of feel the same way with our adoption. It is so tempting to just quit and pull out of our contract. What good would that do us, though? It would just sign, seal, and deliver the negative outcome that I fear the most. No, God called us to this. I don't know why, but I trust that He has a reason, so we will persevere until the end... 7 months from yesterday.

Hang in there! You've done such a great job and are such an inspiration.
I'm trying so hard to get back to exercising but me and cold weather are not friends so I hate going out there to exercise. :/

I need to get back on track myself! I've been eating B A D things!!! I must get back to healthy living.
