Peace in chaos.

Not long ago, I talked about this seeming to be a year of peace for me. I really believe that more and more with each passing day. Not that life is perfect. It is not. It is chaotic. Yet, I wonder can peace and chaos coexist? I believe so. I believe that peace is that sense of reassurance amid the chaos, not absent from it.

Psalm 29:10-11

The LORD sat as King at the flood;
Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.

The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.

The LORD will give strength. Material or physical. Personal or social or political. The LORD will bless His people with peace. Completeness. Safety. Contentment.

You see, the strength and the peace go together. Strength to journey safely through the chaos in a state of peace.

Just my thoughts.

Lots to do today. So grateful for a day off due to the snow and ice we are getting. Warm inside.

Here is a chaotic question for you. If we are trusting God, does that mean that we blindly say yes to anything? Is it a lack of trust if we say no to something? I love that we are putting ourselves out there, but I struggle with some of the questions we face.

Must get to work on my workbook and then two exams. Currently at 73 more pages / 125 more questions to go!

D.T. is working on the profile for the Florida agency. Glad I have him to fill in the gap for me while I study.
