Yesterday evening, D.T. and I stopped by W@lmart for just a few minutes to pick up some hair supplies for me. Things like that are important, you know, and I was totally out. :-)
Well, we were going through the check-out line. The Express check-out line, and the cashier lady did not seem very happy with the gentleman in front of us. I wondered how she would feel about us. Allow me to set the stage. We had left a different line to go look for marshmallow peeps for Goldie. She loves them. She loves sugar. What can I say? She's a girl! Unfortunately, they did not have any. :-( So, now, we were back in a different line, and our cashier was... well... she was a rather robust woman, and she had no teeth. She was somewhere in her late 40's? I am really bad at determining things like that, especially when life seems to have taken its toll on a person.
She greeted us politely and proceeded to scan our items across her machine. Then, looking at D.T., with a grin on her toothless face and a mischievous twinkle in her eye, she comically held up my red can of hair root pump and said I bet this is for you? Um, yeah. That is for the bald headed guy. LOL! D.T., of course, played along, and said, Yes, that is for me. It makes my head shiny. Then, she looked at me, and said, He's got a sense of humor! I like that! If you ever decide you don't want him anymore, let me know.
Ha! I just had to chuckle. The lady at W@lmart was flirting with my husband. I'm glad we could bring some amusement and joy to her day. :-)
You just never know what is going to happen in the check-out line at W@lmart.

That is too funny! I agree with Tara, every Walmart seems to have a lady like that.
