Home, but exhausted...

Well, D.T. and I left bright and early to make the journey home today. I've been gone for more than two weeks. Wow. I didn't realize just how much I could miss everything from home, but I did! I am really EXHAUSTED! In every way... physically, mentally, emotionally... even spiritually. I have a lot of thoughts going on in my head right now and a lot to share, but I am just too tired at the moment. I promise I will be back in the next few days once I have caught up on some rest.

In the meantime, allow me to share a few of the things (other than my hubby who has been back with me for 4 days now!!!) that I missed most (that I have thought of so far :-)). I would have taken pictures for you, but that would have required me to expend some energy, of which I have none. LOL!

*Our car!
*A Walmart that I can actually find my way around!
(Yes! We've already been grocery shopping!)
*The rocking chair in our living room!
*Our bathtub and the background noise from the bathroom fan!
(I am off to take a VERY LONG and HOT bath in just a minute!!!)
*Our comfy, cushy bed (I'm off there for some long
deserved sleep right after my VERY LONG and HOT bath!)

It is amazing what one can take for granted on a daily basis. I guess you don't know what you've got until it's gone!

Tomorrow... work and then pick up the dogs!!!!!

Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...

***Don't forget to pray for someone today!

We were visiting my folks for the week and got home yesterday, know the feeling. Nothing like coming home to your house and bed! :) And my most favorite relaxer and stress reliever - my evening baths! :) Enjoy!

I am glad that you made it home safely! It's nice to find someone else that requires the bathroom fan for noise. You can only imagine how tickled I was to find that our new house has 3 fans in the master bath. We are in fan noise heaven...LOL!
