The JOY Challenge: Day 15

Last night, we met with a Realtor to give us some advice about selling our town home. There is another house in town that we are considering buying from a coworker, and it hasn't gone on the market yet, so we can get a really good deal. We have until January, at which time they will put it on the market.

There is so much we have to do to get our house ready, and there is not much time! Yikes!! Plus, we are going to lose about $10K on our house. There's just no way around it with all the variables. I look at it this way, though. In the past 3 years, we've saved about $30K on rent + we got a tax break.

So, today, as I think about all there is to do, I choose joy in the stamina God will give me to make it through (while working full-time and taking grad classes) and for the home He has currently provided for us. Now, if He chooses to provide a buyer for our house and a new home with a backyard for our puppies, that will be even better! ;-)
