What God said back...

This may not make sense to anyone except me. Oh, well, call it a journal entry. Here goes.

Wendy's prayer for me:

Heavenly Father, Sovereign God, King of kings and Lord of lords, we praise Your Holy Name. Will you rush your ministering angels to C.C. this very moment. Lord, will you meet her in her place of sorrow, anger, doubt, and confusion? Father, make Yourself so very real to her. As she opens Your Word, will you speak Truth over her and fill her with all that she needs to walk this difficult journey with You? Father, through Your Holy Spirit lead her prayers...lead her straight to Your heart. Your Word says that we have the mind of Christ, we can know Your thoughts. Will you reveal those to her today? Will you give C.C. wisdom and revelation to know what you are doing in her life is good, although at this time it does not feel good. Father, meet her at the foot of the cross and touch her in a way she has never been touched before so that she will KNOW You are present and at work in her life. Lord, shower Your Love and Compassion on her, fill her with the fullness of You. We ask this in the powerful name of Your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN

God's answer:

Psalm 37:1-11 (The Living Bible)

**Bold for emphasis, [Italics] mine**

Never envy the wicked! Soon they fade away like grass and disappear. Trust in the Lord [easier said than done] instead. Be kind and good to others; then you will live safely here in the land and prosper, feeding in safety.

Be delighted with the Lord. Then He will give you all your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him to help you do it and He will. [I thought I had been, but apparently not. Gotta love those if-then statements that just put all the responsibility back on you!] Your innocence will be clear to everyone. He will vindicate you with the blazing light of justice shining down as from the noonday sun.

Rest in the Lord; wait patiently for Him to act. [Again. Easier said than done.] Don't be envious of evil men who prosper.

Stop your anger! Turn off your wrath. [Okay. Loud and clear, God!] Don't fret and worry - it only leads to harm. For the wicked shall be destroyed, but those who trust the Lord shall be given every blessing. [That sounds nice!] Only a little while and the wicked shall disappear. You will look for them in vain. But all who humble themselves before the Lord shall be given every blessing, and shall have wonderful peace.

Seemed pretty to the point to me.

Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...

I read your post the other day but it was not a good day for me and I just didn't have the right words to say. I read Wendy's response earlier and it gave me cold chills. She said it all so perfectly and this scripture...wow! Please know that I am praying for you!
