Say "Cheese!"

With all the talk in the news about socialism, I thought I would share a little about how the people of a socialist/communist nation behave in society and what we all might have to look forward to in the near future.

I don't know if you realized this, but people from Romania typically do not smile in pictures. They also do not smile when passing people walking down the street. Don't get me wrong. They are very nice, pleasant, happy people. It's just that I guess back before communism fell, there wasn't so much to smile about, and now, well, I guess old habits are hard to break.

Whenever I ask D.T. to "smile for the camera", he usually gives me a closed mouth half/sorta smile. Then, when I tell him he isn't smiling, he says, "I'm smiling on the inside." Yeah, well, the rest of us don't know it!

So, for my amusement, and your viewing pleasure, here is:
