Terrible Tuesdays???

Would any of you be interested in a meme where you could tell everybody what you really think???

Ya know, like today when the lady in the executive offices passed by me and said "So, what's new in your life?" I mean, did she really want to know??? Why in the world would you even consider asking a question like that?!? What was I supposed to say? "Um, not much. I was thinking of spending $30,000 to have a baby. How 'bout you?"

Sorry. That one pinched a little nerve today. Really, though... I was thinking of spending $30,000 to have a baby. If I actually had $30,000. Which I don't. But I know God can provide. You see, there is this GUARANTEED or your $$$ back program at a somewhat local infertility clinic that does IVF, and I was thinking about checking it out. Would you spend $30,000 to have a baby?

Huh??? Would ya?

That'll teach me to go for my yearly OBGYN exam. Phooey on him for bringing up old, touchy subjects...

Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...

***Don't forget to pray for someone today!

We technically spend $30,000/year just for me to stay home with our kids, if you think about how I had to give up my job to do it. So, yeah, I think I'd spend that much on IVF, especially if I was 'guaranteed' a baby. $30,000 for a lifetime of hugs, kisses and a legacy seems like a small price to pay in the long run. :)
Good luck on your decision. I pray that the Lord will guide you in the direction that He wants you to go in.

I have mixed feelings on this, but then again, I'm not in your situation. I have to say I agree w/ Sneaky Momma. We probably don't make about 25K-30K a year b/c I don't work. But it is so very much worth it! I say go for it, but there will be much prayer for you guys behind my saying that! Good luck!

Well, since children aren't important to me then I would have to say no. BUT, if it was something I really wanted then yes, I would. If there is a money back guarantee then I would at least pray hard about it. Good luck with your decision!

Well.... of course, I would say pray about it first.... but truthfully... yes! I would totally go for it... especially if it's guaranteed. What would you have to lose? It would be SOOOOO worth it to you if it worked, wouldn't it? Go for it!! Being pregnant, although challenging at times, is an experience like none other.
