Today, my husband and I drove into work and parked at the farthest end of the parking lot. We were running a few minutes behind and it would have taken a few minutes longer to drive the whole way around the parking lot looking for that elusive, prized parking space (if you work where we do, you know what I mean). We couldn't afford to be even later than we were, so we made the immediate decision, parked the car, and walked the distance... as we passed one open parking space... another open parking space... 3... 4... 5 open parking spaces, none of which we could see from the other side because of the big SUVs and other vehicles blocking our view.
The moral of the story ~ There will always be things in life that "block your view". Don't miss God's blessings because you're running too late to ask, look, or recognize what He wants to do in your life!
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! ~ Matthew 7:11
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.
Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. ~ John 16:24
