Nothing is insignificant...

You may wonder sometimes if God really cares about the little details of your life. Well, I am here to tell you that HE does!!! Nothing that affects His children is insignificant to Him. I just have to share this story with you because it is really cool.

Last night, the ladies from our Sunday school class had an evening out together. Put-put and ice cream! The perfect combination, right? Well, that and a ton of talking! Lol! :0) We weren't actually sure that we were going to be able to play put-put, though, because the weatherman was calling for rain pretty much all day. So, we knew we were going to have to play it by ear to see what would happen. Well, T... our teacher's wife really wanted to play put-put with all the other ladies, and she kept praying all day that God would give us sun. So, you know what was shining down on us when we arrived at the put-put fun center? You got it! Mr. Sun was shining brightly! It was very neat. Then, while we were all talking about it, T started thanking and praising God for the sun He gave us. She said, "Thank you, Jesus" and "Praise God," and you know what happened? I am not even exaggerating here! The sun got BRIGHTER!!! Each time she spoke words that glorified God, the sun got even brighter! We're talking, like 7 p.m. I mean, it wasn't mid-day or anything. It was evening. Getting close to dusk, and it just kept increasing in intensity.

So much so, that we couldn't look in its direction for more than a second or two. What does the Bible say?

Luke 19:35-41 (New International Version)

They brought it to Jesus,
threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it.
As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road.

When he came near the place where the
road goes down the Mount of Olives,
the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God
in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
"Blessed is the king who comes
in the name of the Lord!"
"Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus,
"Teacher, rebuke your disciples!"

"I tell you," he replied,
"if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."

As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city,
he wept over it.

As I saw the sun last night, I couldn't help but think... even the sun He created cries out to praise Him! How much more should we, His people praise Him?!?!?

Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...
