Group

Well, I had wanted my 500th post to be something special, different perhaps, but the movement of life demands otherwise. So, I will put aside my need for perfection and control and simply write about our present goings-on.

Yesterday was the first day of my intensive. It was just that. Intense. In every way. Who knew one day could offer so much? I participated in a group that I will be in for the rest of this week, and I already feel like I have known these people all my life. Groups are amazing. They take on a life of their own. They are life-changing.

Today, I will be leading a group, and I have been preparing this morning. This, too, should be interesting. Exciting stuff!

Last night, we finished the last piece we needed to submit for our profile to the Florida agency. The Dear Birthmother letter. It ended up being a compilation of the two letters we did for our current agency with a few additions and changing all of the I's that identified who was doing the talking to We's that presented a more unified letter. We didn't spend too much time agonizing over whether it was all right or perfect. We just did it, read over it once, did a quick spell check, and immediately emailed the letter, our topics, pictures, and captions off to the agency. If God is in it, it does not require man's perfection. After all, He can overcome any imperfection.

We got a packet of information in the mail yesterday from yet another agency. This one is in Arkansas. I am familiar with it, but the funny thing is that I don't recall requesting information from them. Weird. Have I lost this much memory already? LOL! ;-)

Well, time to get out of the tub and get ready for the day. :-)

Oh, and by the way, if you did not see my Tweet yesterday, this professor is AMAZING with a capital A! Incredible life. Incredible testimony. Plus, he knows his stuff.

Glad you are enjoying your week! And it sounds like things are really stirring up with all of the adoption activity.

Have a super blessed day!
