Tuesday Tidbits...

Today's post is brought to you by the word:

random [ˈrændəm]
adj
1. lacking any definite plan or prearranged order; haphazard

So much to talk about. So little time.

Vegetarian?

I think not. We bought SO much meat at the butcher's shop over our Thanksgiving road trip.

That is something we miss about the north. They have good butchers up there. Not so much down here. We bought so much

that, after we vacuum sealed it, we brought about a third of it with us and left the rest in my Gram's freezer.

While at the butcher, D.T. discovered that they had a type of meat product that they also have in Romania. They gave him a sample.

Needless to say, we bought some, and he was very happy! :-)

I missed our puppies and am SO glad to have them back. They were very tired when we picked them up after work last night.

They always are after they come home from the boarders. I don't think they sleep at all while they are there. Might be 'cause they miss this kind of bed.

;-)

***

I slipped on black ice the other day while packing things in our car to come home. I must have forgotten where I was. We're not in the south anymore, Toto. Ice, C.C., it's called ice. You have to be careful on stuff like that!

***

We are going on a diet. Our goal is to lose 20 pounds each by the end of April. That is 1 pound each week. Achievable, I think.

Have you ever really stopped to look at the mountains?

I think the most majestic and interesting part about them is not how high they appear to be,

but rather, their movement...

the peaks and valleys,

and the points at which they come together.

Just pondering. I love to look at the mountains.

Today, I choose joy in the beauty and mysteries of God's creation.

Living in His JOY, HOPE, and PEACE...

***Don't forget to pray for someone today!

What beautiful scenery.

I love a good butcher shop. We have a few good ones around here. So old fashioned.

Wow... look at all that meat! Looks like you guys really stocked up. I think the mountains are so beautiful! I always love our trips to the NC mountains. Ha, your dogs are too cute! Good luck on the 1 pound a week. I think you have set a very do-able goal!
