Short for "Cinnamon Crunch," my most favorite breakfast bagel treat! I am a 30-something, totally Type-A, slightly OCD, yet somehow cluttered woman of FAITH. I love JESUS, my husband, my family, and my SON!!! I value peace, yet appreciate what God has taught me through the trying and sometimes painful circumstances of life in this fallen world. I enjoy writing (especially blogging), reading, watching tv, and playing with our dogs. My continual prayer for this blog is that God will help me to share the experiences of my life in a way that would minister to others and bring glory to Him!

Not Me Monday!

Welcome to "Not Me! Monday" as hosted by MckMama at MyCharmingKids! I am not sure if MckMama will join us today, as her youngest son Stellan is still struggling with SVT right now. Either way, hop on over to her place and let her know you are praying for her family!

This week, no matter what you might hear to the contrary, I did not ~~quit~~ withdraw from the grad class I was taking. If I had, it would not have been because I had a very good reason ~~in my own mind~~ which was that I decided to do a slightly different program which did not (really, it didn't) require the class I am taking.

It would also not have been because I didn't want to get a "B" and ruin my GPA on a class I didn't really need! I'm just not a crazy perfectionist like that, and that would definitely be CRAZY!!!

If I had withdrawn from the class, I would then not have been persuaded by my professor that I should change my mind and keep going. Then, I would not have had to go to the registrar at my school and ask him to reverse my withdrawal.

*sigh*

If all this really did happen, I would not have spent 7 hours on Saturday working on the next assignment that was due for the class. Nope, not me! Instead, I did nothing this weekend and enjoyed every second of it.

I will not be SO glad when this class is over!!!

Leah said...: I'm not in school, but I have 2 highschoolers. I'll be so glad when school is over this week. I'm sick of watching over their shoulders constantly. I may as well be in school too! You hang in there though. Sounds like you're staying on the right track, even if it is a little curvy!; 11:46 AM

Becky Gravley said...: well.....i've been wanting to blog about this, but i'm a bit nervous, so i'll just respond to your not me monday (which cracked me up, by the way). I certainly did NOT forget to pack underwear for my deputation (missionary support raising) meeting this past sunday. i then did not wash out my ONE and ONLY pair, hang them on kara's pack 'n play to dry, find that they were nowhere near dry the next morning and....yep, you guessed it...when i went to church that morning, my ONE and ONLY pair were NOT still hanging on the side of
the pack 'n play!! ha!! how's THAT for a NOT ME??!; 11:25 PM
