Ok, at least two of you are curious! LOL! So, here you go...
No, the second one is not a family picture, although the people in it were like family. Yes, the first picture was a church service at our former church where D.T. and I used to sing in a group together. In the pic, he was 4th from the left, and I was to his immediate right (2nd from the right.) The group existed, in the form you see it, for close to four years. Actually, four of the best, most life-changing years of my life. You can read about that here if you like. It was also during that time that I began thinking more about my need for God's joy, hope, and peace and subsequently wrote this.
The second picture was our group being goofy when we were trying to take a serious picture. Yeah, right. We SO could not be serious together! ;-) As I mention in the post linked above, my favorite part of that picture is the look on the pastor's face. I guess you just had to be there. :-)
Today, I was just missing some people and the way things used to be. Guess I must be gettin' old.
